It’s hard to find the words for this one. I express a lot how honored we are for the projects we do but something about working together with @newera in just a couple weeks at the 2021 NFL Draft in Cleveland really hits different.

We all know it’s been a long and trying period for our beloved Live Events Industry and I’m just so excited and thankful right now to announce that our @inkwells team will be Live Printing Custom Caps at the @nfldraft from the 29th-2nd.

I just want to give a very special thank you to New Era for the continuous support. For a company rooted in WNY it’s just extra special when we get to create together. @nycmarathon 🏅 One of the biggest challenges to engraving marathon medals Live is that you don’t get to see or test the race medal beforehand. So when @adidas trusted INk Wells to be their customization partner in the NYC Flagship store we knew we had a lot of work to do to get it dialed in. So what did we do? What we always do. Over-prepare. We ordered medals from runners all around the world to test all of the previous marathons we could; applying different medal sample thickness, hardness and other laser variables to our practice. A lot of this Live customization comes down to preparation and variation testing that happens for weeks or months behind the scenes. No two events have ever been the same and the marathons are a testament to this challenge we thrive on.

This image was our first medal completed at the @nycmarathon when we knew our hard work had paid off as our quality hit 💯. This week long activation where INk was set up in the Flagship store was an honor and we are so thankful for the opportunity to have been able to bring our craft to the @adidasrunning and NY community.

Los Angeles Marathon ❤️ This was our last major before Covid caused everything to go on hold for the safety of the world for the last year. This ☝️ was so special for us having a presence at both the Starting Line and Finish Line of such a major marathon. Our incredible teams created thousands of custom shirts, shoes and medals for this international running community.

Almost a year to the day later and we have so much to share in new infrastructure, new services and updates to the service we always did best. We are committed to quality, authenticity and unique experience and never lost sight.

After doing a few events already here in 2021 we are so thankful to still be here 🌳 . With a more focused approach on safety and new technology that changes everything. To our clients. Thankful for this! Best way to kick off 2021. Live Custom Mask Printing with @cfbplayoff at the National College Football Championship Game yesterday in Miami! This was a big one as it was our first on site printing event since March and provides us the security that our technology and process can be done safe and interactive during these unprecedented times. This gives us a look into what Live On Site Customization will look like moving forward. We adapted to the landscape of distanced events and proved that we can do this safe using our No-Touch Live Design tech. This is one my favorites. Love these moments. @whitesox x @inkwells giving the kids the freedom to go wild with their shirt design is so classic and entertaining! Just look at @joseph_grice_art reaction to this little southsider going beyond with his design skills. Ahhh man so much about this even gives me chills. From seeing these interactive design tools we built put smiles on faces, to the process that allows these custom prints to be produced in under 10 seconds, to the partnerships and being so close to a permanent install in the ballpark. This unique T-shirt came to life after hovering with your smartphone. There were a total of 4 main designs and 16 unique animations for each design. That’s 64 unique print variations. NBA ALL STAR w/ @neweracap Its hard to find the words for what it means to us to be collaborating with New Era in 2020 as they celebrate their 100yr anniversary. It’s the highest honor and beyond inspiring for us, a small company coming out of Western New York. Throughout All Star Week we collaborated on customizing caps, shirts and hoodies using our Live Design Suite allowing consumers to select unlimited patches and placements making their one of one product.
We also had the honor of creating a custom ASG cap for every player who made the All Star Team roster 🙏. These player caps were given to each athlete during @nbaallstar Media Day. Shout out to @jaytatum0 and @spidadmitchell who both came through the booth and customized with us.
