[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]During the 2016 Holiday Season we produced Live Printing at Finish Line with Live Design of custom socks by adidas.

We were asked to create a live custom design application to give consumers the ability to design their own socks online and send us their order.  We created this to be placed inside of the Finish Line Water Tower mall store in Chicago.  During this activation the guests were able to submit their own designs and photos and touch create the socks and then watch them live printed.  In this activation guests could also design on ipads that we had set up with staff for design support.  When guests are able to access their personal photo library to create the impact of the product increases significantly.  Its an amazing honor for us to be able to work with adidas and The Finish Line stores in allowing their consumers to create from the heart.

This design and live print process takes approximately 10 minutes per designer + print to completed product and is definitely something that engages consumers all the way through the creative process. It brings a great amount of positive attention to the store and leaves consumers with a strong memorable experience from the store.  It gave the adidas rep and store employees more time with their consumers and allowed the consumers to further engage with all that the store had to offer.

Special one day in store activations like this are amazing for driving new buzz and new consumers into the retail store.  Its a great way to allow for interactive engagement directly with consumers and give them a product that is so meaningful to them they share it on every platform and never forget where they got it.

The quality of the adidas socks for live printing are amazing.  The combination of ink, process and amazing adidas sock material creates a soft and vibrant product.

Our live print teams remain very active throughout every activation.  The process is often a multi step live print process and we engage all the way through from event start to finish.  In this case the amount of space allotted to our booth was limited and we reacted by being very flexible and compressing into the corner window to allow for guest to still access products in direct proximity to our booth.

One of the major things that bring us joy in this service is to engage with the guests and get them excited about the experience they are about to witness.  We teach them about the process and allow them to watch the custom manufacturing live on site.  consumers love to watch the Live Print process in front of them.

These consumers in the Chicago Water Tower Mall excited about whats happening inside the store.  Many came in to take advantage of the live print and design being offered inside.

We realized that this is entertaining and people stop and watch for minutes at a time, bringing friends back to the store window to observe the Live Printing Service.  Its a great environment for an activation like this.  Entertaining the people is part of the fun of Live Printing.
